April showers

Dit stempeltje van Sassy Cheryl heet Apil showers, ook wel toepasselijk februari, het regent hier al 3 dagen. We hebben lekker vakantie en dus vertek ik zo direcht met de meiden voor een nachtje naar ons pap en ons mam in Brabant!

This is a Sassy Cheryl stamp called April Shower, well we have some February showers here, it's raining already for days here. We are on our sprink break I will depart late on with the girls for a visit to my parents!

twee kaartjes!

Afgelopen vrijdag was ik, wat zeer ongebruikelijk is, alleen thuis, de meiden waren logeren en Paul had een uitje met de zaak. Met de X-factor op de achtergrond en een kopje thee met wat lekkers heb ik heerlijk de hele avond ongestoord zitten freubelen en deze twee kaartjes gemaakt. Ik was direct weg van de stempeltjes van de digistampboutique, je hoeft ze niet te kleuren wat ook wel eens prettig is.

Last friday I was home alone, the girls were having sleepovers with friends and my husband had an evening out with his company, I used the entire evening to craft, tv on the background and a nice cup of tea and some sweets......I had a ball. I made these two cards with stamps of the digistampboutique I just love those little birds, and the good thing is you do not have to colour them, which can be nice fo a change.

Vanmiddag sneeuwde het hier, gelukkig is het niet blijven liggen maar oh, oh wat ben ik toe aan een de lente!

This afternoon we had snow again, oh I'm looking so much forward to spring!

Van sommige stempeltjes word je zo ontzettend hebberig dat had ik bij dit stempeltje van Mo Manning, liefde op het eerste gezicht, vervolgens duurde het nog een paar weken voor ik haar ook gebruikt heb.

Met het kaartje doe ik mee aan de challenge op Mo's Challenge blog, een hele leuke sketch van Cathy.

Some stamps make you just so greedy, I had to purchase this little lady from Mo Manning, love at first sight it was! It took a couple of weeks before I had time to colour her, but her she is!

Een kaart of een project voor een speciaal iemand was de challenge van deze week.

Ik heb dit vogelhuisje gepimpt voor ons mam! In de lente veranderd ze de gordijnen altijd van de rode naar de gele, en daar past dit vogelhuisje leuk bij. I made this birdhouse for my mum, in spring she always changes her curtains from the red ones to the yellow ones and this birdhouse suits the yellow ones.

En natuurlijk is ze de liefste moeder/oma van de wereld die altijd klaar staat voor ons en de meiden.

And of course she is the nicest mom/grandmother in the world always there for us and the girls.  

Het was ontzettend leuk om te maken, I had great fun making this, de andere meiden hebben schitterendende dingen gemaakt, the other girls made great things, nieuwsgierig, curious, klik hier! Deze week is de laatste week dat je kunt opgeven voor het DT team bij Stamptacular, this week is also the last week you can apply to become a DT member at Stamptacular!

Justin versus George

 Afgelopen zondag vierden we de verjaardag van Britt, groot Justin Bieber fan, ze spaart voor van alles en wilde dus graag geld.

Last Sunday we celebrated the birthday of Britt, major Justin Bieber fan, she wanted money as she is saving for all kinds of stuff. 

Voor haar heb ik een melkpakje gemaakt gevuld met lekkere chocopinda's en aan alle kanten versierd met Justin Bieber.

I made her a milkcarton fillend with chocolate covered peanuts and decorated all over with Justin Bieber.

 Mijn eigen meiden hadden de grootste lol toen ze me zo in de weer zagen met Justin, ik had zijn moeder kunnen zijn (volgens Anne-Li zelfs zijn oma!)

My own girls were having great fun when the saw me scrapping with Justin, I could have been his mom easily (or even his grandmother according to Anne-Li)

En eerlijk is eerlijk Justin is toch echt een meisjes idool, geef mij maar good old George!

And let's be honest Justin is a real idol for younger girls, give me good old George anytime. 

Maar het belangrijkste is dat Britt erg blij was met haar cadeautje.

The most important thing however is that Britt really appreciated her gift!

Een kaartje met wat te eten erop deze week, dit stempeltje is van MFT, ik vind het echt een schatje. MFT sponsort de challenge van deze week en ze hebben super gave dingen......meedoen dus! Het idee voor een labelkaartje zag ik bij Kattzcreaties, ik vond het zo'n leuk idee dat ik de LO gelift heb!
